These are personal goals that may directly impact my job search
- Substantially increase my local volunteering commitments at the library, genealogy society, and history museum. Make the time! It serves the community, increases my skills, and provides networking opportunities.
- Adapt to the reality that suburban life means public transportation is no longer a reliable convenience. Take a driving course, practice my rusty driving skills, and finally earn my driver’s license in 2022. This will drastically expand my potential commuting range.
- Hone my genealogy research and documentation skills over the next year by taking classes from Boston University’s online Genealogy Studies Program or a similar institution. Obtaining certification will be a nice addition to my resume.
